Soul Food Connect is a soulful celebration of community, culture and food featuring a local artists exhibition and an outdoor festival-market of natural/soul food vendors, local businesses and community service providers. Since 2017, each Soul Food Connect has sponsored a community service initiative (Call 2 Action) centered around addressing nutritional inequality faced by certain undervalued communities. Soul Food Connect’s next “Call 2 Action” is Food 4 Families–in collaboration with “My Hands to Your Hands” food pantry, artists of Westview Studios and other community stakeholders–we will provide wholesome and healthy meals and resources for local families in time for the start of the 2023 school year.
